Morgan is a geek, and proud of it. She stumbled her way into tech by way of passion and curiosity. Although she doesn’t have a typical computer science background, Morgan’s interest in how technology impacts the world and the people in it, drove her to learn more about what powers tech, and that’s how she found her way into working on building developer communities and tools. Morgan currently works at Google as a Product Manager, where she focuses on developer experiences. Prior to Google, Morgan worked at Twitter and Microsoft. She believes in being well-rounded and credits her experiences working in engineering, marketing, and developer relations with getting her kick-started in her career. She can often be found sharing career insights on Twitter and Instagram (@livelovegeek), talking at conferences and hackathons, and is passionate about helping student technologists break their way into the industry. In fact, Morgan was recently named to the “Top 50 Women of Impact” in tech by Women Impact Tech for her work in paving the way for the next generation of women in tech. Similarly, in 2023, Morgan was named as the USA “Next Generation Leader of the Year” during the Women of IT annual awards. Additionally, she was named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s “10 under 10” list, which honors the 10 most outstanding graduates from the last decade; Morgan holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from WPI. She lives in Redmond, WA with her two dogs and enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and playing board games with friends.
